We don't pretend to do much more than that really. It's quite simple.
We do our best at passing on information about your sports club - we like to call them community sports hubs - using this website and our social media outlets, notably twitter, where we are followed by thousands of sports clubs as well as colleges, schools and university teams.
This exercise has proved extremely successful over the past 15 years and enables all-important regional sports fans to plan their days/weekends accordingly.
We realise many clubs are like us: they do their best with the resources available, many of whom are volunteers.
One of the resources we rely on? Our amazing followers on twitter.
We call them "the team".
Without the team - our playmakers - we cannot pass on the latest information and updates.
This weekend the weather is again set to take its toll on outdoor sports.
We are quite happy to pass on to our 17,500+ followers - sports fans and supporters all - if your game or event is on or off but can do neither if you don't let us know.
The way we report on sport has changed, the way news is disseminated has changed.
Twitter is a free tool that enables us to impart information at lightning speed.
So...
If you want to pass on if your match is subject to a pitch inspection, on or off, if your sports event has been adversely affected by the weather or your golf course or sports centre is closed let us know by tweeting @swsportsnews
We will pass on your latest sports news
It's quite simply what we do.
