When I started tracking Avonmouth Old Boys RFC on twitter in 2011 little did I realise I was going to be following a winning team.
The club won promotion to National League Three South West and the Bristol Combination Cup.
Avonmouth OBs boast an informative, up-to-date, profile-raising Pitchero website, linked with their twitter feed.
Switched-on webmaster Craig Britton – the club's first team hooker - was quick to establish a rapport with South West Sports News and been so supportive it's been long overdue the Bristol-based club joined the growing pack in our Your Club rugby section.
Team player "Great" Britton also does his level best to promote other rugby clubs in the Bristol area and further afield.
The 'mouth play their home games – and train on Tuesdays and Thursdays - at Barracks Lane, Shirehampton.
The first XV skipper is Matt Belbin who succeeds loose-head prop Grant Britton, Craig's older brother.
The team also boast brothers on the wings, Billy and Charlie Reynolds.
