RUGBY UNION Pirates bolster pack with top rated Reds

cornish pirates logoNational League Two South 10-try top scorer Tom Duncan and highly-rated Redruth teammate Owen Hambly have signed for Cornish Pirates.

Number 8 Duncan, 22, and flanker Hambly, 25, will train with the Pirates one day a week and remain available on loan to the promotion-chasing Reds for the rest of the season.

Hambly spent a spell with the Pirates in 2006-07, and also played for Truro and Cornish All Blacks.

Duncan first played for Redruth at the age of 14 and made his senior debut in 2009.

The Pirates have signed three Reds this term, after swooping for prop Peter Joyce.
