Gloucester Rugby have selected a much-changed XV for tonight’s European Rugby Challenge Cup opener at Pau.
Only half a dozen players – Tom Savage, Jacob Rowan, Owen Williams, David Halaifonua, Billy Twelvetrees and Henry Purdy - remain starters from Saturday’s 29-24 victory over Northampton.

England and British Lions wing Jack Nowell makes his first Exeter Chiefs start of the season against London Irish at an expectant Sandy Park this afternoon (1500).
Nowell – a key, try-scoring figure in helping Exeter win the Premiership for the first time last term - replaces fellow Cornishman Max Bodilly, who starts on the bench.
