Cornwall kick off their 2012 Bill Beaumont Cup Division One South county championship campaign at home to perennial group favourites Gloucestershire tomorrow at Redruth RFC (Recreation Ground 1500).
Somerset start their Division Two South programme at home to Devon at Bridgwater & Albion RFC (College Way, 1500).
The county championship clash on the Bath Road will be preceded by a Somerset Saxons game against a Bristol Combination XV (1230).
County championship winners
Cornwall three times, the last in 1999.
Devon 10 times, the last in 2007.
Gloucestershire 17 times, the last in 2002, 16 times runners-up.
Somerset’s single win was in 1923.
