The annual holiday derby game between Camborne and Redruth is believed to be the longest enduring consecutive club fixture in world rugby.
With the hosts in the top half of the South West Premier table and the Reds riding high in National Two South the stage is set for a titanic tussle.
These traditional Boxing Day encounters are now given added spice with the Milk Cup up for grabs thanks to the continuing generous sponsorship of Rodda’s, the largest producer of Cornish clotted cream.
Although Redruth have dominated the competition it is the Cherry & Whites who are the current cup holders after last year’s thrilling 17-14 away win.
With home advantage, Camborne will be seeking another upset.
Supporters are advised to arrive in good time for kick off with the Camborne clubhouse open from 1200 noon for pre-match refreshments.
