Gloucester Rugby preparations for next season have taken another step forward with wing Billy Meakes and loose-head prop Dan Murphy signing extensions to their contracts to remain at Kingsholm.
Australian Meakes, 23, previously played for Bristol club Clifton RFC while Murphy is in his fourth season with the Cherry & Whites following his switch from London Irish.
Seven members of the Gloucester squad - including Bristol-born England no 8 Ben Morgan and Swindon-born wing Jonny May - have already agreed new terms while Tom Marshall and Jeremy Thrush will make the summer switch from New Zealand Super Rugby sides Chiefs and Hurricanes respectively.
• Exeter Chiefs props Carl Rimmer and Ben Moon have put pen to paper on new two-year deals, back-row forward Kai Horstmann is extending his Sandy Park stay by another year.
Chiefs have signed 21-year-old former England Under 20 prop Alec Hepburn from Australian club Perth Spirit.
Hepburn, whose former clubs include Wasps and London Welsh, has signed a two-year deal.
