Bristol RFC have signed Italian international back Tommaso Benvenuti, 24, from USA Perpignan on an 18-month contract.
Benvenuti - who can play at centre, wing or full back - joined USAP from Treviso in May 2013.
The six foot one Italian back was born in Vittorio Veneto and started his career with local club Treviso.
Benvenuti - who celebrated his 24th birthday last month - has won 30 caps for Italy since making his international debut in November 2010 against Argentina.
