SW RUGBY Rain returns for pre-season training

It's Tuesday, it's raining so that must mean time for club rugby players to start pre-season training...

Having woken up a fair few coaches/players this morning it seems most rugby clubs across the region - from Penzance to Pontypridd, Poole to Painswick RFC - resume training tonight in preparation for the up-and-coming 2013-14 league season.

At South West Sports News HQ we are also beginning to gear up for the new rugby season.

We have the best regional rugby following in the land, from grassroots up to players and teams in the top flight.

Every one of you is important to us. That's why we are passionate about promoting you, your club and your game.

That's why we publish details of training nights - where and when - pre-season fixtures and how people can track or follow you on twitter.

Last season was a whole new ball game, with our #swrugby twitter pack following powering into thousands... thanks to YOU!

Without you and our positive, pro-active interplay South West Sports News would not be able to run with the oval ball or provide free services to promote the sport you love.

Team sport is about teamwork.

Thanks for being part of the team!
