PREMIERSHIP FINAL Exeter 38 Harlequins 40

Louis Lynagh’s scored two late tries as Harlequins pipped Exeter 40-38 in a pulsating Premiership final at Twickenham.

Quins trailed by five points before Lynagh’s 73rd and 76th minute tries put the London side in the lead for a final time.


British Lion Stuart Hogg pulled a try back for Exeter with two minutes to go to narrow the lead to just two points.

The lead changed hands five times throughout a memorable final, sealed by two tries from the son of former Australian ace Michael Lynagh, in front of 10,000 at England Rugby HQ.
