Clifton bid to extend their winning streak at home to sixth placed Sutton Coldfield in the Women’s Premier Division today (Coombe Lane 1130).
Fleur Horner’s in-form side will be without left back Liz Sinton but seeking to extend a four-match winning streak that has lifted them to third in the top flight.
There is plenty of top women’s national hockey league action around the region with home games for Bristol club Firebrands, Exeter side Isca University and Gloucester City in the Women’s Conference West.
It’s derby day for Isca, who host cross-city rivals Exe, who are seeking to stem a seven match losing run. Exe’s last league win? A 3-2 home success over Isca on November 5.
