University of Exeter will be glad to be back on the water-based University Sports Park pitch today following four successive England Hockey League Men’s Premier away matches.
Olly Deasy’s greens host Hampstead & Westminster looking to repeat their opening day home form, when they upset star-studded Reading 3-2 at the Park.
The home side will also be looking for their third EHL top flight win of the season following back-to-back away defeats at Loughborough and Beeston before the two-week league break.
Hampstead are fifth in the Premier Division, three points ahead of ninth placed University of Exeter in a tightly packed top 10.
Today’s match starts at 1300 and admission is free to watch top flight EHL action.
In the EHL Men's Conference West, Cardiff & UWIC host Lichfield (Sport Wales National Centre, Sophia Gardens 1300) while Whitchurch are at Bournville (1230), Cheltenham visit University of Birmingham (1230) and Team Bath Buccaneers travel to Fareham (1330).
