Exe visit relegated south coast rivals Bournemouth in their final EHL Women’s Conference West match of the season on Saturday (1400) with plenty of reasons to finish on a winning note.

The Devon team know a last-day victory could edge them up to third in the table as Buckingham, a point ahead of Exe, visit a Swansea side battling to avoid the relegation play offs following their 4-2 win at Exe.

Last season Exe finished fourth with 27 points.Heading into this term’s final game they have accumulated 26 points. 

Claire Thomas put Exe 2-0 up at half time against Swansea with two goals in three minutes from a 28th minute penalty stroke and a 31st minute penalty corner.
