Lee Thompson and Jon Bevan shared top place in the prestigious Oake Manor Golf Club pro-am Taunton.

Thompson made birdies at the fifth, 11^th and three in succession from the 15^th in compiling the only fault-free round by the 42 pros. Bevan birdied the third, fifth, seventh, 11^th, 13^th and 17^th.

Scott Drummond’s 67 contained two eagles - a two at the eighth and three at the 15^th - and five birdies
