England women’s champions Lincolnshire begin their county finals defence against south west champions Gloucestershire at East Devon Golf Club today.

The week-long championship is one of the highlights of the women’s amateur golf calendar.

Players will be tested by a cliff top course - with breath-taking coastal views - at Budleigh Salterton.

Gloucestershire will represent south west interest after pipping Cornwall to the regional title at Trevose Golf & Country Club in June.
