Former PGA Championship winner Scott Drummond, Bristol ace Chris Wood and Exeter’s Chris Gill tee off the 2012 BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth tomorrow.
South Devon-based Drummond – who won the prestigious European Tour tournament in 2004 – tees off at 0950 tomorrow morning and 1415 on Friday.
Drummond, 37, famously won the championship with a scorching last round 64 to finish 19 under par and two strokes clear of Argentinian ace Angel Cabrera eight years ago.
Long Ashton’s 24-year-old Wood – a former European Tour rookie of the year – tees off at 1105 tomorrow and 1530 in the penultimate three out on course on Friday.
Gill – the 2011 PGA West Region order of merit winner – tees off at 1115 tomorrow and is in the last trio out on Friday at 1540.
Gill, 32, is making his second appearance at the championships. He also qualified for Wentworth after topping the region’s order of merit in 2010.
