The prestigious three-day annual competition – which alternates between Saunton and RND – has attracted 140 of the country’s top men’s amateur players to Westward Ho!
2011 Devon amateur champion Leon Fricker (Yelverton) will be in the opening three that tee of the tournament at 8.00 on Friday.
He will be joined by Michael Turner (Taunton & Pickeridge) and James Phillips (West Hill).
The field will also include RND ace Jimmy Mullen, recently returned from playing winter golf in Australia.
