TEAM NEWS Carey boost for League 2 leaders

Graham CareyPlymouth Argyle playmaker Graham Carey is available for tomorrow’s top of the table League 2 clash at Bristol Rovers.

The 26 year old Irishman’s recovery from a knee injury sustained in late November ensures the Pilgrims have a fully fit squad for the all-ticket match at the Memorial Stadium.

Both teams enter the contest in form, with table-topping Argyle winning five out of six and Rovers fresh from a Sunday best 2-1 triumph at fellow promotion chasers Oxford.

Pilgrims boss Derek Adams recognises the challenge his side will face tomorrow.

He said: "They came and played very well in the 1-1 draw here and have performed exceptionally after getting promoted last season. They've got a number of players that can chip in with goals, like ourselves.

"Any game at Rovers probably feels like a derby because the fans are right on top of you and it can be quite a cauldron at times. It's a difficult venue to go to because the crowd are so intense but our fans are always very vocal, they've supported the team exceptionally well away from home and they'll do that again on Saturday.”

"It's very good that we have a fully fit squad going into the last 19 games.

"We've got the likes of Wylde, Tanner, Jervis and Brunt who can score and Reuben (Reid) and Graham are back from injury now and they're capable of scoring as well. It's good to have goals throughout the team and we have competition for places now, which is vital."

• Plymouth striker Deane Smalley has joined League 2 rivals Newport County on loan until end of season.
