The Toolstation Western League will boast a 20-team Premier and 21-team First Division next season.
Last night’s annual meeting at Wells City FC overwhelmingly accepted a recommendation by the league’s board of directors for a top flight shake-up for 2012-13.
The new-look Premier Division will include newly promoted Cadbury Heath, Melksham Town and Gillingham Town from the First Division, Buckland Athletic from the South West Peninsula League and Winterbourne United from the Hellenic League.
The First Division will have three new members: newly promoted Cribbs Friends Life from the Gloucester County League, Cheddar from the Somerset County League and Warminster Town from the Wessex League.
Corsham Town and Sherborne Town are relegated from the Premier to First Division.
Confirming the changes, league secretary Ken Clarke told South West Sports News: "The meeting was in full agreement to the board's recommendations and it all went through very smoothly."
