Chris Hargreaves and Lee Mansell - like Dunne both part of the coaching team which secured Rovers' League One status alongside Coughlan last season - will undertake new roles at the club.
Hargreaves becomes Rovers Academy manager, tasked with improving players' pathway into the first team squad.
Former Rovers midfield ace Mansell takes over as Rovers Development Squad manager, the role vacated by Hargreaves.
Coughlan's Rovers kick off the new Football League season at Blackpool on Saturday August 3 (1500ko) and conclude their regular programme at Gillingham on Sunday May 3 (1200).
Wycombe Wanderers are the first team to visit Rovers in the league, on Saturday August 10, while the Gas kick off 2020 at Paul Tisdale's newly promoted Milton Keynes Dons on Wednesday January 1.
AFC Wimbledon visit Rovers on Boxing Day Thursday.
