Plymouth Argyle playmaker has committed his future to Derek Adams' newly promoted League One Pilgrims.
The 28-year-old Dubliner penned a new "significantly improved" contract this morning as the greens returned for pre-season training.
Argyle have made eight new signings this summer - including Doncaster central defender Aaron Taylor-Sinclair and returning winger Gregg Wylde yesterday - but few will be welcomed by the self-styled Green Army as much as fans favourite Carey committing to the Pilgrims' League One return.
Centurion Carey has scored 27 goals - many of them spectacular - in his 100 Argyle apperances.
