The big freeze has put scores of football matches on ice tonight – including a dozen or more non-League fixtures in the South West.
At the time of posting this update, Cheltenham Town's eagerly anticipated all ticket FA Cup replay against Hereford United (Edgar Street 1945) was unaffected by the big chill as was the top of the table Conference clash between Newport County and Paul Buckle's Luton Town however Rodney Parade did undergo a 1730 pitch inspection by referee Rob Whitton.
Gosport Borough's floodlit Southern League Premier Division match against Frome Town was also set to beat the temperature drop and go ahead while the rest of the night's league fixtures fell foul of the big freeze.
Exeter City's Devon St Luke's Cup trip to Silver Street to play Willand Rovers was postponed following a 1615 pitch inspection while Truro City were saved from a wasted Conference South trip to Eastleigh by a 1300 Silverlake ground check - to confirm the Spitfires' pitch was unplayable.
Bodmin Town's Throgmorton Cup tie at Ivybridge is off tonight but set to go ahead – frost-permitting – tomorrow night at Priory Park.
You can check our latest update on tonight's state of play – bearing in mind that some clubs/press officers may not contact me direct to inform supporters of a late postponement - by clicking on the fixtures link below...
