Bristol City visit Cardiff City in the Championship tomorrow and so today the region's football spotlight falls on League One Park games for Exeter City and Yeovil Town.
Paul Tisdale's Grecians - who host Liverpool in the Carling Cup second round later this month - kick off their home league campaign against MK Dons (St James Park) bidding to build on their 1-1 start at newly promoted Stevenage.
After away days in the league and cup Terry Skiverton's Yeovil Town host Oldham Athletic at Huish Park.
It's derby day in League Two with Paul Buckle's new-look Bristol Rovers playing their first competitive game of the season at the Memorial Stadium against his former club Torquay United, now managed by Martin Ling.
Buckle's Pirates are set to include three players who played for Torquay last term - goalkeeper Scott Bevan (pictured), 15-goal Gulls top scorer Chris Zebroski and loan star Craig Stanley - while United's attack will be lead by former Rovers loan striker Rene Howe.
Mark Yates' Cheltenham Town host Swindon Town in the division's other derby (Whaddon Road) while Plymouth are at home to Rotherham United (see below).
Adie Britton's Bath City kick off their National Confence campaign at Mansfield Town while newly promoted Truro City visit Chelmsford for their first ever Conference South game.
Weston-super-Mare start their Conference South season at home to Dartford while Dorchester Town visit Dover.
