COUNTIES CRICKET Venues for first ever Super 12s

NCCA-Logo MasterSlough, Horsford, Great and Little Tew CC and Furness CC will be the venues for the first National Counties T20 Super 12s on Sunday May 19.

Eight counties were eliminated from the competition following the group stage which concluded on Monday with the remaining 12 counties now being split between the four venues that have been chosen to host the Super 12s.

As Group One winners Cumbria have chosen the Furness club in Barrow where Lincolnshire and Herefordshire will also be in action.

Group Two winners Norfolk will be back at Manor Park in Horsford for the first time this season following winter work on the square. Norfolk have used Great Witchingham and Sprowston as their temporary homes in the meantime.

Holders Staffordshire, who were reinstated to the competition after Northumberland, runners-up in Group One, were disqualified for breach of regulations, will also be in action at Horsford along with Hertfordshire, runners-up in Group Three.

Group Three winners Berkshire will host Shropshire and Cornwall – runners-up 12 months ago – at Slough with Oxfordshire, who won Group Four, having home advantage at Great and Little Tew where Dorset and Cambridgeshire will be in action.

The winners of each of the four Super 12s competition will progress to Finals Day at Chester Boughton Hall on Sunday May 26,

The order of play at each of the four Super 12s venues will be announced shortly.
