MINOR COUNTIES Wiltshire one win away from final

Berkshire welcome back former Hampshire batsman Richard Morris for their Minor Counties Trophy semi-final against Wiltshire at Finchampstead today (1100 start).

Middlesex wicketkeeper/batsman Jack Davies also returns to the squad along with Hampshire all-rounder Tom Scriven, who is product of Berkshire’s youth system.

Wiltshire have called up former Somerset wicketkeeper James Regan for a possible Minor Counties debut.

Former Cardiff MCCU batsman Uzair Qureshi, whose century steered Wiltshire to victory over Oxfordshire in the quarter-final, returns after he missed last weekend’s championship defeat by Wales.

Batsman/slow left-armer Jake Lintott is available for Wiltshire after playing for Warwickshire’s Second XI on trial this week.

The final of the 50 overs Trophy competition will be played at Wormsley in Buckinghamshire on August 28.
