Holders Callington suffered a second defeat, in a low scoring game at St Austell. The home side were bowled out for just 99. In reply Callington were dismissed for 64 with West Indian Stanney Simon taking five for 28 on his Saints debut.
Grampound Road beat Werrington at home by one wicket in a thrilling finish. Werrington made 146 and after a good start the Road scraped home to make 149-9 thanks to an unbeaten 79 from Tom Hughes.
St Just were surprised at home to Camborne being dismissed for just 96. Camborne reached their target at 97-4.
Troon made 140-9 at home to Paul who were bowled out for 122 in reply to lose by 18 runs.
