Bath City’s reward for a 2-0 win at Bristol Rovers is an FA Trophy second round trip to Conference South rivals Wealdstone FC on Saturday January 10.
2008 finalists Torquay United – now managed by Chris Hargreaves, who played in central midfield for the Gulls at Wembley – host Conference South Bromley in round two following a 5-0 victory at Bishop’s Stortford, the biggest first round win. Bromley beat Leiston FC 2-0 to reach the last 32.

Head coach Rob Baxter believes Exeter Chiefs' European Challenge Cup encounter at La Rochelle could prove to be a defining game in pool two.

Title chasing Clifton Ladies Hockey Club resume their Investec Women’s Premier programme at home to Reading on Saturday January 31 at the University of Bristol’s Coombe Dingle Sports Complex (1300).
Clifton head into the mid-season annual Christmas break placed second in the England Women’s top flight just three points behind unbeaten leaders Surbiton, the only side to beat them this season.
