Defending Minor Counties champions Berkshire maintained their perfect start to the season by making it three wins out of three in the Western Division with a 148 runs success over Cheshire at Finchampstead.
Berkshire have now won 11 consecutive matches over three seasons and again look the side to beat as they attempt to become only the second county to win four successive titles outright.

Dorset made it back-to-back home wins in the Minor Counties Championship with an innings and 23 runs victory over Herefordshire at Bashley.

Inexperienced Herefordshire were shot out for 128 in their second innings with former Leicestershire off-spinner Jigar Naik taking four for 47 to finish with eight wickets in the match.

Former Gloucestershire and Glamorgan wicketkeeper Cameron Herring made his maiden Minor Counties century for Wales against Oxfordshire at Usk.

Thanks to Herring Wales recovered from 107 for six to reach 260 all out with extras being the next highest scorer with 40. Northop Hall teenager Josh Andrady chipped in with 28 on his Wales debut.

England Under-19 international Luke Hollman will make his debut for defending champions Berkshire in their Minor Counties Championship match against Cheshire at Finchampstead today (1100).

Hollman, a batsman/leg-spinner, is a member of the Middlesex Academy and will make his debut as part of Berkshire’s mutually-beneficial relationship with the first-class county.
