EXETER CHIEFS forced to change winning starting XV

Exeter Chiefs logoExeter Chiefs are forced to change their winning starting XV for today's Premiership clash at Wasps (1400ko).

Chiefs roared to a 40-6 win over Leicester Tigers at home in the season's opener but injury to two key players means director of rugby Rob Baxeter has to make changes.

Winger Olly Woodburn (jaw) is set to be sidelined for at least a month, while Nic White (foot) means he also misses out.

Utility back Henry Slade and scrum half Stuart Townsend come into the side. Slade’s inclusion in the centre means Ian Whitten is shunted to the wing.

On the bench, Jack Maunder is included as back-up to Townsend, while summer signing Alex Cuthbert - who played 40 minutes in the Braves win at Saracens on Monday - is included for the first time since his move from Cardiff Blues.
