GLOUCESTERSHIRE RUGBY Morris plays waiting game

Morris is weighing up his options, building on the positives from the defeat at Hertfordshire before finalising his line-up this match-day morning.

He knows Gloucestershire must avoid defeat to remain an elite county side.

If Kent secure their first win over Gloucestershire since 1990 then they will remain in the top flight of county rugby and Gloucestershire will be relegated.

Gloucestershire were in a similar position last season and secured an unexpected win over eventual champions Hertfordshire in a passionate tussle to remain in Bill Beaumont Cup Division 1 South. It will require more of the same this time.

Morris is boosted by the return of flanker Joe Joyce from England U20 duty but is still unable to call upon Richmond and county skipper Will Warden, sidelined by injury, so Cinderford's Mike Wilcox is set to retain the captain's armband.
