Cornish All Blacks centre Lewis Paterson has been voted 2012 Cornwall Player of the Year by members of Trelawny’s Army Supporters Club.
Paterson was presented with the Bill Osborne Memorial Shield by BBC Radio Cornwall sports reporter Peter Richmond at the TASC annual meeting at St Austell Brewery Visitor Centre last night.
St Ives’ fly half Kyle Moyle received the Tony Mead Memorial Shield as the TASC Cornwall Under 20 Player of the Year. Moyle played for Cornish All Blacks last season.
TASC Press Officer Bill Hooper reports: “Both polls were very close, reflecting the fine play of both the Cornwall Senior and Under 20s sides last season.
“We were also delighted to welcome London Cornish RFC director of rugby Dickon Moon as well as officials from Cornwall RFU and St Austell Brewery.”
