Chippenham will meet Oldfield Old Boys in next Wednesday’s Bath Combination Cup final at the Recreation Ground, Bath.
Chippenham – who debuted England Under 18 Clubs & Schools prop Dan Keat – beat University of Bath 53-12 at Allington Sports Ground.
Along the London Road, Oldfield Old Boys overcame Midsomer Norton 18-12 in a hard fought semi-final in torrential downpours at the Lambridge Training Ground.
The cup final will be preceded by the Bath Combination Plate final between Avon RFC and Stothert & Pitt (1815).
• Keat was one of a handful of South West teenagers to play for England Under 18 Clubs & Schools in a 38-10 win against Ireland Clubs U18s at the weekend, on as a 59th minute replacement for prop Alec Clarey.
The winning squad also included Filton College second row forward Joe Joyce (Bristol/Southmead RFC) who played the full 80 minutes, and Exeter College’s Linford Brock (Barnstaple RFC) on as a 59th minute replacement for scrum half Henry Taylor.
