North Somerset men's first team topped Davis Wood Hockey League West Central 1 as champions with a 100 per cent 22-match winning record.
After clickety-clicking up 66 points, the Portishead-based side – who play home matches and train at Gordano School – are celebrating a memorable year for the club.
North Somerset men's firsts are the only side to win one of the regional men's league's 25 divisions with a 100 per cent record this season.
It is something that – justifiably - gives men's first team skipper Ben Jones great pride.
Jones said: "It's been a good year for the club. We are only a small club but we decided to field three men's teams in the league this year and I think that has led to the first team's success. There has been a lot of competition for places, especially in the first team and the result speaks for itself.
"Now we are looking to improve and push-on as a club, not just in the men's section but also the ladies' side of the club, which runs two league teams."
• North Somerset Hockey Club was formed following a 1997 merger between Brean and Portishead hockey clubs.
