Team Bath Buccaneers are 2015 Men's Hockey League Conference West champions after winning 4-0 at relegated Whitchurch on a dramatic final day.
Talismanic top scorer Tim Davenport (8 42) Eugene Malthouse 33) and Pavraj Lochab (45) scored for Team Bath. Davenport ends the season as the division's top scorer with 27 goals, 18 from open play in 18 matches.
Cardiff & Met started hockey's Super Sunday at the Conference summit with the best goal scoring record, by far, but the defending champions were surprised 4-2 at sixth placed Cheltenham.
James Kyriakides set the Cardiff blues on their way with a seventh minute opener and Dan Kyriakides made it 2-1 after Sam Carter converted a 20th minute Cheltenham penalty corner.
Two-goal Tom Cole (50pc 67pc) and Peter Duffy (61pc) scored to ensure Cheltenham ended the season on an ultra home high.
Third placed University of Birmingham enjoyed a strong finish, beating cross city derby rivals Barford Tigers 7-1 to consign Tigers to the relegation play-offs and ninth spot.
Indian Gymkhana and University of Exeter retained their league status despite last day defeats.
Eighth placed Indian Gym lost 4-2 at home to fourth placed Fareham while University of Exeter were beaten 4-1 at fifth placed Guildford despite being fired ahead by Alex Robey in the 33rd minute.
Both sides will spend a summer free of relegation worry and hope for improved form next season.
• Cardiff-based Whitchurch will return to the West of England & South Wales Hockey League in an identical crossover from last season which sees Exeter-based Isca promoted as regional champions.
