Freescoring former St Austell and Exe forward Linda Webb scored five goals for Firebrands as they beat Essex visitors Pheonix 11-0 to reach the last 16 of the Investec Women's Cup.
The Investec Women's Conference West side will be joined in next month's third round by fellow Bristolians, Clifton Ladies, who won 3-2 at Maidenhead thanks to goals by Izzy Palmer, Liz Sinton and Dutch ace Els Mansell.
Team Bath Buccaneers – third in West Clubs Women's Hockey League Premier One – were knocked out 5-0 by visitors Bowdon Hightown, fourth in the Investec Women's Premier Division.
Wimbledon received a walkover over Taunton Vale.
The third round is on Sunday November 11. Fixtures to follow once draw has been made.
