The PGA Professional Championship is being staged over the links at Burnham & Berrow Golf Club beside the sea at Burnham-on-Sea in Somerset for the first time this summer.
PGA pros will have nine regional venues to choose from in a bid to reach the £78,000 final which takes place in Somerset from June 2-5.
The Great Britain & Ireland team to visit USA in September's PGA Cup will be selected following the conclusion of the championship.
Saunton Golf Club head professional Albert MacKenzie was last month confirmed as PGA Cup vice captain to Jon Bevan, whose side is set to include Bridgwater ace David Dixon (Enmore Park GC).
Dixon is one of three to have qualified for inclusion in the 10-man GB & I team following his success at last year's Titleist PGA Play-Offs.
• The WPGA Professional Championship will also take place at Burnham & Berrow GC, from June 4-5.
Up for the cup Somerset ace David Dixon
