Mike Reynard is the 2012 Cornwall Golf Union amateur champion.
Reynard - a member at Trevose Golf & Country Club - overcame West Cornwall youngster Matt Richards three and two in the 36 hole final at St Enodoc Golf Club.
In the semi finals Reynard beat experienced Ian Veale (Tehidy Park) three and two while Richards overcame Josh Greenaway (Bowood Park) by one hole.
In the quarter finals Greenaway beat Newquay’s Jon Hancock 5&4, Richards pipped Perranporth’s Chris Fleming by one hole, Reynard beat St Enodoc’s Antony Nash by one hole and Veale beat Tehidy Park club mate Pete Simmons by one hole.
