Brandon Goodship’s last minute goal secured Weymouth’s seventh league win of the season and sealed their second half comeback at Ladysmead, after Michael Landricombe (22’) had headed Tivvy ahead.
Terras skipper Jake McCarthy levelled on 66 minutes.
Taunton Town are up to second thanks to Rocky Neal’s first half stoppage time winner in a 2-1 victory at Dorchester.
Neal crossed for Craig Veal to head the Peacocks 29th minute opener, cancelled out by Luke Winsper three minutes later.
Salisbury soared to fourth in front of the night’s biggest crowd – 548 at the Ray Mac – thanks to goals by Lewis Benson (5’) and Dan Fitchett (86’ pen) in a 2-0 home win over Merthyr.
The Martyrs slip to sixth, level on 18 points with fifth placed Tivvy.
Swindon Supermarine also soared – out of the bottom three – following a confidence boosting 4-2 home win over Farnborough and goals for former Swindon Town central defender Jerel Ifil (25’) Conor McDonagh (40’) Stuart Fleetwood (44’) and Bradley Gray (60’).
Player-coach and super sub Matthew Tubbs hit Gosport’s 78th minute free kick winner as Borough stopped Poole’s second half revival 3-2. Marvin Brooks (47’) and Steve Devlin (55’ pen) cancelled out Boro’s 2-0 half time lead.
It also finished 3-2 at Wimborne, where the home side stayed ahead thanks to goals by Matt Oldring (16’) Franklyn Clarke (32’) and Luke Burbidge (53’). Ryan Bath (35’) and Kris Scott (57’) replied.
Basement side Chesham were beaten 7-0 at Beaconsfield. Tiverton are at Chesham on Saturday.
