National Counties Trophy winners Dorset will be attempting to complete a rare white ball competition double at today's T20 Finals Day at Wormsley.

Norfolk face Oxfordshire in the first semi-final at 1000 with the winners meeting the winners of the second semi-final between Dorset and Northumberland in the final at 1630.

COUNTIES CRICKET Dorset aim for Trophy final joy

Dorset County Cricket Club head coach Paul Lawrence wantDorset crickets his players to enjoy the occasion as well as trying to bring home the county’s first silverware in 15 years when they take on Shropshire in the National Counties Trophy final at Chester Boughton Hall today (1100).

Dorset’s last title was the National Counties Championship – then Minor Counties Championship – in 2010 but they have not appeared in the final of the 50 overs competition since 2006 and their sole success in the format came back in 1988 when they beat Cambridgeshire by two wickets in the final at Weymouth.
