Tim Davenport’s double fired Team Bath Buccaneers to the top of Conference West while Cardiff & UWIC joined them on nine points following their derby win over Whitchurch.
Last season's Conference champions Buccs beat Bristol’s Firebrands 4-2 in the Avon derby at Bath after trailing twice, to goals from Ben Trembath (15) and Rollo Lewis (28).

Premier Division Clifton are through to the Investec Women’s Cup second round following yesterday’s 2-1 home win over unbeaten Conference West side Gloucester City.
Emily Atkinson and Joie Leigh scored for Clifton, who now visit Maidenhead in the next round.

Plymouth Argyle manager Carl Fletcher highlighted the non-stop contribution of scorer Rhys Griffiths and winger Paris Cowan-Hall despite the Pilgrims’ 2-1 home defeat to AFC Wimbledon.
Former Llanelli ace Griffiths followed up his own saved spot kick to make it 1-1 in the 89th minute before Rashid Yussuff’s deflected stoppage time winner for the Dons.
