Still have a thousand and one features I want to write for SWSN and nearly as many ideas to implement.
One of them is to ensure I produce a regular monthly update to you: this is the first.
I wanted you to know when features are not going up on the site it usually means I am busy working behind-the-scenes on some new SWSN-related game plan.
Regulars know I also take occasional timeouts to be with my family and this will continue.
However I usually return to the SWSN sports desk energised - as now - ready for the next feature, match report or update.
I have particularly enjoyed the positive response to our at-a-glance twitter guides to your favourite hockey, football and rugby teams and anticipate this will be expanded to take in more teams and sports and their related tweeters over the coming months.
As I see it you are all part of a special regional dream team, to whom I am indebted for ever-increasing, pro-active support, so keep passing it on … J
