10th in table City are set to host 12th placed Preston North End on Saturday (1500).

Exeter City
remain 10th and just two points off the League Two play-off places following last night's 1-1 home draw with Bolton Wanderers, who edged up to 16th.

City took the lead from Almeida Santos' own goal on 62 minutes after great play by Matt Jay before Bolton skipper Antoni Sarcevic set up Arthur Gnahoua to level on 73.

Matt Taylor's City side came within inches of a late winner as Nigel Atangana's scissor kick came back off the bar in stoppage time.

Exeter are set to visit 18th placed Harrogate Town on Saturday in the league before back to back games back against Stevenage and Morecambe.

Harrogate's home game against Carlisle United last night was postponed due to floodlight failure. 

Paul Tisdale's Bristol Rovers were knocked out of the EFL Trophy 1-0 at home to League One rivals AFC Wimbledon, whose matchwinner was Jack Rudoni on 61 minutes. 

Rovers return to league action at home to seventh placed Charlton Athletic on Saturday.

Chippenham Town lost 4-0 at 12th placed Tonbridge Angels in their mid-table National League South clash. 

The Bluebirds - in 14th place - have just signed Welsh full back Jay Foulston, 20, on a month's loan from Southern Premier Taunton Town.

With Saturday's trip to Maidstone postponed, Chippenham's next league game is set to be at home to 13th placed Hemel Hempstead a week later.
