Gloucester Rugby have selected a much-changed XV for tonight’s European Rugby Challenge Cup opener at Pau.
Only half a dozen players – Tom Savage, Jacob Rowan, Owen Williams, David Halaifonua, Billy Twelvetrees and Henry Purdy - remain starters from Saturday’s 29-24 victory over Northampton.
Bristol born 21-year-old former St Mary's Old Boys, Filton College, Dings Crusaders, Bristol and promotion-winning Hartpury College flanker Jake Polledri makes his first senior Cherry & Whites start, Tom Hudson makes his first European appearance for the club and Savage skippers the XV.
