Gloucestershire Under 20s face Northumberland Under 20s at Cinderford RFC today knowing they are 80 minutes from another visit to Twickenham.
The National U-20s Championship semi final kicks off at 1400 but Weston-super-Mare RFC’s influential Jack Skelton is missing due to injury.
Thornbury RFC’s Ed Sheldon switches from wing to his club position of full-back to cover in an otherwise familiar backline with Matson RFC’s Ryan Woodhouse winging in.
Jake Holcombe returns at lock and Dean Brooker starts in the front row.
The squad is enhanced by the return from New Zealand of Aaron Ryan, who has impressed in recent games for Old Patesians RFC.
Ryan’s father is Worcester Warriors director of rugby Dean Ryan
The other semi-final sees Yorkshire U20 take on Kent U20 at Doncaster.
