Gloucestershire topped the English Women's Golf Association South West Region leaderboard in dramatic style at North Wilts Golf Club.
The Gloucestershire girls waited until the final round to take over at the top by becoming the first team of the week to defeat defending champions Dorset, 5 ½ - 3 ½, and subsequently qualify for the EWGA county finals.
Gloucestershire will now represent the South West against regional winners from the North, South, East, Midlands North and Midlands South in the EWGA County Finals at Thorndon Park GC, near Brentwood, Essex, between September 12-16.
Next year's EWGA South West Week will be hosted by Cornwall and held at Trevose Golf & County Club, near Padstow.
Gloucestershire rallied from a second day 5-4 defeat by border rivals Somerset to score big back to back 8-1 wins over Devon and Cornwall before eclipsing Dorset on the last day.
Devon, who halved with Wiltshire on day four, lifted their tails to halve with Somerset on the final day to leave the host county holding the wooden spoon.

Day 2: Dorset 7 ½ (3) Wiltshire 1 ½ (0), Devon 2 ½ (0) Cornwall 6 ½ (3), Gloucestershire 4 (1) Somerset 5 (2).
